The Independent Rifle Association (TIRA) is dedicated to firearms proficiency, survival skills, medical training, and mutual aid networks—building a community of skilled and responsible individuals. Our tiered membership program offers exclusive access to firearms training, survival courses, medical response programs, and national shooting competitions based on U.S. Army shooting standards.

TGS Consulting is the career and transition solutions arm of The Global Sentinel, dedicated to empowering veterans with the tools they need to succeed in civilian life. While we are not strictly a veterans' organization, our mission is built by veterans, for veterans—providing expert guidance without the bureaucratic red tape.

We specialize in resume development, job acquisition strategies, career coaching, and professional networking to ensure veterans can translate their military experience into meaningful careers. Meet the Founders

Chris Newton

Chris is a veteran with six years of service in the U.S. Army as a combat medic, attached to a military police company. From 2018 to 2024, he dedicated himself to providing critical medical support in dynamic and high-pressure environments. His commitment to service continues as a Public Affairs Officer and University Program Instructor in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he plays a key role in education and outreach. With a passion for security, media, and strategic consulting, Chris founded The Global Sentinel to provide insightful journalism, professional training, and innovative solutions for an evolving world.

Dustin Manock

Dustin brings extensive experience from both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, where he served in combat and law enforcement roles. As a Marine Corps machine-gunner, he deployed overseas, gaining firsthand knowledge of tactical operations. He later transitioned to the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer, further refining his skills in security and defense. Currently serving as a detention officer, Dustin’s expertise in military operations, law enforcement, and security strategy makes him a key leader at The Global Sentinel. His focus is on training, advisory services, and veteran-driven content, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of media and security consulting.
