The Independent Rifle Association (TIRA), a sub-branch of The Global Sentinel umbrella, was founded on the principle that firearms proficiency, survival skills, and community resilience are fundamental to personal and collective security. We recognize that true preparedness extends beyond the range—encompassing disaster relief, medical training, logistics, agriculture, and other vital survival skills that strengthen individuals and their communities.

TIRA is not a political organization, nor are we a militia. Our name was chosen deliberately to avoid the political connotations of other organizations, ensuring that our mission remains strictly focused on education, training, and responsible firearms ownership. We believe that firearm culture in America must be inclusive, safe, and rooted in skill development, not toxic ideology.
